Cherries Chat
Cherries Chat
My name is Jack Hillman and I am one half of the Cherries Chat podcast and I'm very excited to have started this project with Greg.
I am a recent sports journalism graduate at Bournemouth University and last season, I covered AFC Bournemouth's 25/26 campaign with the university's in-house sports media website, Nerve Sport. As co-editor of Nerve Sport last year, I gained exclusive access to the men's first team, attending Andoni Iraola's press conferences; speaking to players in the mixed zone after games and mixing with the local media in the press box.
I'm of course a huge fan of the Cherries, with my first game being a 'brilliant' 2-0 loss to Sheffield United in League One. I have been a mascot and even a ball boy for the club. Now writing and speaking about the club is something I'm adding to my long list of Cherries involvements!
I really hope you enjoy reading our written pieces and listening to our podcast. I can't wait to see how this season pans out!

My name is Greg Masding and I have a degree in Multimedia Sports Journalism, having just graduated with a 2:1 from Bournemouth University, as well as achieving an NCTJ Diploma.
I have been an AFC Bournemouth Fan my entire life and have been running @the_afcb_fanpage for over 10 years, the largest unofficial Cherries Instagram account with over 17,000 followers.
I have featured on the HopeFM Football Show for the last year, discussing all things AFCB and non-league, as well as co-hosting an award winning Radio Show, ‘The Sports Hour’, on Nerve Radio at University (winner of ‘Best Daytime Show’).
I also previously wrote on my own website, gregmasdingsports.co.uk, but am delighted to be working with Jack on our all new podcast and website and can’t wait to see where it take us. UTC!
